Who We Are

The Blaze Track and Field and Cross Country Team is going on it 7th year of competition and has sent athletes to the USATF championships the last three years.

The team was started by Mrs. Coletta Preacely -Garcia, a graduate of USC and currently Assistant Pricipal and Magnet Coordinator at Stowers Magnet School of International Studies. Mrs. Preacely-Garcia competed in intramural sports as a youth and saw a need for a track and field sports program in this area.

The program is supported by several other coaches trainined in Distance running, High Jump, Hurdles, Long Jump, shotput, javelin and Sprints.
